Writing the first article in an online newspaper.need help?

I’m starting an online blog for my school and was wondering if you guys could suggest anything for the first article. I’d like to write in in blog format (if there’s such a thing, i mean like just not that formal compared to something you might read in WSJ). I need to get this started soon- any suggestions?

    How about what the blog is for, why it’s needed, and a general overview of the school and what’s happening this week. Ask for input from readers/encourage editorial letters.

    Just remember the old journalistic who,what,when,why,where, and how!
