Anyone here interetsed in writing articles for Failcyclopedia?
Sunday, June 28th, 2009Blackshades asked:
Hi, I’m looking for help writing an article on DA for Failcyclopedia. Problem is, humor’s not really my strong point (nor is writing either, to tell the truth). I’d rather not copypasta straight from ED, so if anyone out there’s interested in lending a hand, please leave a message here.
Thanks very much. The article stub is here:

Does anyone know where I could find a job writing articles online?
Thursday, June 25th, 2009james_bishop_917 asked:
yeah I pretty much wanna work from home doing something on the internet. Writing articles for a website was my first idea (and the thing I’d probably do best at). I don’t believe all the scams so don’t tell me that’s all that’s out there, I know better than that.

Learn How to Write Article Content for Distribution
Monday, June 22nd, 2009Peter Nisbet asked:
If you can learn how to write article content for distribution to article directories, and how to avoid the writing errors that cause most to fail, then there few reasons why you should not succeed to have your article listed prominently on Google.
Most people are aware of how to write article content, but how do you optimize what you write to attain high search engine listings? Here are a few tips from a professional article ghostwriter (me) with several years experience in article marketing, and writing articles for maximum impact and results.
1. Why are You Writing Articles?
You will find lots of advice online about how to write, but how many of these people ask you to consider why you are writing articles? Is it to show how much you know about your niche? Is it to help to solve problems for your readers? Either of these reasons are good reasons for writing, but how are they going to help promote your business? Before you write a single word make sure that you have it clear in your mind what you want to achieve.
2. How to Write Article Content to Achieve That
First you must do your research and find out what your potential readers might be looking for. Get your facts right, and then write about it. However, don’t give it all, and leave more to be said. Provide part of an answer and infer that your website, or product, can provide the rest. That is frequently enough to persuade readers to click on the link in your resource.
If you can write article content in such a way as to leave your readers wanting to find out more, they are liable to click on your link for more information. However, if your article writing is amateurish and full of spelling and grammatical errors, then your readers might doubt your ability. I know that your grammatical knowledge and your knowledge of your niche are likely unconnected, but it is what your potential customers think that counts, nothing else.
There are ways in which you can improve your writing ability and style, and if you have doubts in that department then work on it. A well written article will bring better results than one that seems lacking in literacy, irrespective of what you might think. Sure, it might make no different to some, but those to whom you are looking to purchase your products are likely to be more discerning in that respect than casual readers.
3. Optimize Your Articles for Search Engines
You also have to learn how to write article content that will attract the attention of search engines. Any of your articles accepted by article directories are published on their own web pages contained within the directory. They are as likely to be listed on Google, for example, as any other web page. If you have optimized your article properly, then it could get a high listing on page #1 for the keyword on which it has been optimized.
You should therefore carry out keyword research and use the best keyword you can in the title and body of the article, using good optimization techniques based upon Google’s latent semantic indexing (LSI) algorithm as a guide. That involves the use of vocabulary related to the keyword rather than endless repetition of it.
4. Write the Author’s Resource Intelligently
Learning to write article content that keeps the reader involved and interested is only half the battle: you must still get the click. Be honest in your resource, but offer something that the reader would want. Here, for example, I might offer more information on how to write a resource that your readers can’t resist. That would not be truthful because over 90% of your readers will not make that click irrespective of how well you have tried to persuade them to do so.
You should offer the reader genuine help and also an inducement for them to accept that by clicking on your resource link. Sure, they might decide that your product is not for them, but the offer you make should show them that you are genuine.
It could be a free ebook - not some free junk 5 years old, but something of value - or a course related to your niche. If you have a dog site then offer a five part course on teaching your dog some obedience tricks, or if on fishing then a few tips on choosing tackle and bait for specific types of fish. If you write honestly, and offer genuinely useful gifts and offers, the response might surprise you.
That’s how to write article content for distribution: write with authority and with as few errors as you can - and be totally honest! Get your resource right, and then you might get results.

Article Writing - Writing Articles Will Improve Your Skills
Sunday, June 21st, 2009Nancy billa asked:
When you first begin drafting articles, it may be accepted that your articles do not flow that easily or naturally. This is particularly true, especially if you have not written much before or perhaps not lately.
However the more articles you write, the more you will make improvements in the way your articles flow. One technique you can use is to proofread and correct your articles after you have drafted them. And if proofreading proves to be difficult, then ask a family member or a friend to edit your writing for you.
Writing your own articles does have other benefits. When you write you experience a development in your art. You begin to notice that things happen a lot quicker and a lot smoother.
Let me tell you about the 4 main ways you will notice your skill develop when you consistently write articles.
1 - Your discipline - When you write your own articles on a regular basis, you become more disciplined. You find it easier to achieve goals and targets that you have set. If you decide that you wish to draft 5 or 6 articles per day, over a period of time, you will begin to achieve goals on a regular basis. I systematically draft 10 brand new articles every single day.
2 - Your skill at creating back links - When you write your own articles on a regular basis, it goes without saying that the articles increase in number. The more articles you have submitted online to the various websites, the more back links you will generate to your site. This, in turn, will improve your search engine ranking, and of course, your sales.
3 - Your direct traffic-generating skill. The more articles you draft, the more articles you submit to the article directories, the more direct traffic you will receive to your website. And this in turn will result in more clicked throughs to your website.
4 - Your creativity skill. It takes a lot to come up with new titles, new content and new bio links to your article. After a while, it will become easier for you to generate new content, and this, in turn, will help you become more creative when it comes to producing new products for your subscribers. And the more new products you create, the more likely you will create products that your subscribers are desperate to purchase.
So writing your own articles on a regular basis does improve your skills. There are many other skills that will improve over time, but the above are the 4 main skills that you should be concerned about. Eventually, you will notice an exponential improvement to your internet business online.
