There are many ways to make money online. The most effective and cost efficient is probably article marketing. Using the manual submission method, it is absolutely free and will bring highly targeted visitors to your website. Here’s a few pointers on how to make money online by writing articles.

The nice thing about using article marketing, besides the fact that it is free, is that you do not have to be an expert author or writer. Just simply write about your experiences and views on the subject in your own words. Most people can do this easily because you are only writing between 400 - 500 words. Far less than the long drawn out reports we have all given in school. There are people who you can hire to write articles for you if you are not comfortable to do so. Fresh content is the key however, and learning to write yourself should be your priority.

I know how it is when you first step into something that you are not familiar with. Writing is the same feeling. If you aren’t comfortable writing yet, push yourself to persist through it, I promise it will get easier the more you write. Lets face it, in this industry writing skills are a must if you want to make money online. Learn to write at least one or two articles a week to build a name for yourself and to optimize the amount of free traffic you will generate.

After you have written your article, you can either submit it manually to different article directories or you can purchase a distributor to do the job for you. Purchasing an article distributor will save you an abundant amount of time.

You are drawing attention to your home based business by writing and submitting articles. That is why the authors resource box is so important. Make sure you include your name, copyright clause, and a link back to your website. The resource box should be a call to action for the reader. You want to make it so the reader can’t say no to clicking on your back link.

When you submit articles you will be building back links to your site that wll help increase page rank and search engine rankings for keywords. So before submitting your articles, it is very important to research your keywords very carefully. Put enough keywords n your article for the search engines to recognize them, but not so much where it makes your article unreadable.

After writing and submitting articles on a regular basis you will really start to see your traffic stats improve. We all know that as we get more traffic, we get more sales. So if you are looking for cheap and effective ways to make money online, start writing and submitting articles right away!

Writing Articles: Where Do I Start?

Would you believe that as I began my approach to writing this article I scratched my head and asked myself “Where do I start?” I guess this is a question that addresses a lot of things in this life. Although many of the things or issues that we face only give us one logical way to prosper, which we sometimes don’t accept I might add, it is

not the case with writing articles.

Writing articles can be a lot of fun, and it can also be very challenging. I don’t know about you, but I would rather have fun writing, and believe me once you get started, it will be fun to you also. You say “Yeah right!” Yeah, I know it’s the getting started part that gets you down and puts a damper on creativity. Well I’m going to make my best attempt to help you get the juices flowing,

because as you know by now content is what the search engines are looking for.

Do you remember being in school, and hearing the dreaded word “research” from Old Miss Johnson your English teacher? Well, this is what Miss Johnson was preparing you for, your Internet Marketing career. Only now “research” does not

have to be a dreaded word it can be one of your favorite words. I’ll bet you are asking “How can that be?” I’ll tell you. You see the Internet has made it so easy to obtain information on just about any topic you can imagine, and it’s right at your finger tips. Ask yourself “How did you

find this article?” Yeah, on the Internet. Most of us have a tendency to look over the obvious.

Now that you have your main avenue to resources

established, let me point you to some great places to start, and here they are - Google, MSN, AOL, and Yahoo just to name a few. This is a method some of your most prolific authors are using to churn out articles by the dozens.

Let’s say, for instance, your website or program has to do with vitamins. You would simply do a search on vitamins, and see what people are writing about in their articles and reviews on vitamins. And no, I am not talking about copying

someone else’s work, word for word. That’s against the law you know. What I am suggesting is this, that you approach it the way Old Miss Johnson taught you in your English class, and that is if you are writing an essay or a report.

Once you get back into the groove of doing research you too will be churning out articles and reports by the droves.

Okay, the next method I am going to discuss is for those of you who are just not ready to take on the task of writing articles. It could be for a number of reasons why you feel you can’t write, be it not enough time or you feel that you

are not creative. Nevertheless, you can still have great content for your website or program. This method is also widely used by many. Did you ever copy off someone else’s paper and move some things around and add a few words here and there to make it look like it was your own work? Well,

there you have it. For more information on this method and some great resources just click the link in my resource box.

Remember this, 85% of Internet users are using search engines to find the information they need. If you have the information that they need they must be able to find you. This is why writing articles is so important to your online business, it gives the search engines something to shout

about, so to speak. Now get to writing, you will be glad you did, because it will truly bring you results!
